SUMMER CAMP COUNSELORS - WINDHAM RECREATION DEPARTMENT

The Town of Windham seeks qualified applicants for the position of Summer Camp Counselor. This is a temporary seasonal position (40 hrs/wk @ $17.50/hr; Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.).
Under the direction of the Recreation Director, and the general supervision of the Assistant Recreation Director, the Summer Camp Counselors are responsible for ensuring the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of campers during their stay at the camp. They serve as mentors, leaders, and role models, guiding campers through various activities and fostering a positive and inclusive camp environment. The position requires independent judgment, initiative, maturity, observation, and communication skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older; plus volunteer or work experience with children and teens, desired. Must have CPR and First Aid certification, or secured prior to employment. Bilingual (English and Spanish), preferred.
